The cashier does her "How are you today?" I blurted out, "I live in America, how do you think I am?"

The Day we lost the WI recall election, Nov 9th and Yesterday..overwhelmed with grief and disbelief....I busted out crying at the gym at 5AM...on to the market...cashier does her "How are you today?" I blurted out, "I live in America, how do you think I am?"

Don't you think we should all do a Woman's March deal again.... everyone of us in the streets. Watching tv and blogging and pretending to go on with our day is NOT gonna cut it. Our beautiful country hangs in the balance. That pig has given them license to kill us.

After all, this was someone trying to earn a living and being polite to a customer. Bottom line is that that cashier didn't learn anything from your comment. You blew a teachable moment.

I am not going to lecture a lady in the supermarket. I write letters, the whole town knows me.

It could have been the cashier was a raciest and they are stoked about the last few days. I am hoping you got a good cashier.
