Crisis-Watch Mode is Warranted, I Think

The Trump Administration is in crisis right now. Trump has shit the bed in a messy, smelly way. It may be the last straw for many people who are the adults in the room.

That an emergency meeting has been called at Camp David this Friday, with Pence jetting back from South America where he has been wining and dining and bloviating lightly, is significant. It has not been announced who will attend this short-notice secret meeting, but it's likely not going to have anything to do with "South Asia," since nothing really critical is going on in that region.

Meanwhile, Trump is claiming that he shut down two Presidential Councils, a story that is at odds with the members of those councils, who say they disbanded them on their own. Coming off his debacle of a news conference yesterday, where he stumbled and mumbled and said all the wrong things, this meeting seems to be more about Trump's bed-shitting than anything else.

Trump is back in New Jersey this afternoon, where he will no doubt stay silent and then fly to Camp David for this secret meeting, the actual topic of which may be the future of the Trump Administration.

So, buckle your seat belts securely around your lap until the pilot has turned off the seat belt sign and shut off all your electronic devices, because this plane is about to take off for an unknown destination. Prepare for a rough flight, with a major news dump to come late Friday. Thanks for flying DU Airlines!

the list of pardons including himself are in order and they will proceed to arrange a resignation. McConnell has made no comments on anything so he'd probably be planning to contunue in his position. Oh, hell if I know, but I can brainstorm.

If it includes Ryan and McConnell, along with Kelly, Mattis and the other adults in Trump's Cabinet, but excludes people like Bannon and the other neo-nazis, I would expect a resignation to be forthcoming. If the makeup of the attendees is something other than that, then it might be just a crisis strategy meeting.

I don't know whether we'll know who's going beforehand, though. That may remain secret.

He has no idea what he's done and is sitting there, playing with it. He's been getting his two folders full of kind strokes from morons every day while he's jetting around and has no idea of the firestorm back home. I doubt anyone will inform him about it, either.

Disbanding an advisory council after most of the members had quit in disgust is the cherry on top. I wonder what he'll do to try to spite the last two presidents from his own party for condemning his defense of Nazis.

As for his staying silent, that's more than we dare to hope for. Likely he'll get bored and his thumbs will fuiiously fly over his cheap Android phone as he doubles down on his preference of clean cut Nazis over the scruffy, ill dressed majority.

Donald Trump feels EMPOWERED after Monday's hullabaloo. Donald Trump is HAPPY the way it all went down. Donald Trump is pleased with his performance Monday.

Donald Trump will not resign this weekend. DONALD TRUMP WILL NEVER RESIGN. EVER.

And then some are implying that top ranking Republicans are going to make a move on Donald Trump. A coup against him. I have to shake my head. THESE REPUBLICANS ARE THE SAME PEOPLE WHO DO NOT EVEN HAVE THE FORTITUDE TO CONDEMN DONALD TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, FOR LOUDLY DEFENDING AMERICAN NAZIS, THE KKK, AND WHITE SUPREMISTS. DONALD TRUMP WHO CALLED THESE SHITHEADS "GOOD PEOPLE" AFTER ONE OF THEM RAMMED HIS CAR INTO A CROWD OF INNOCENT AMERICANS KILLING ONE AND INJURING DOZENS.

Do you really think they will stand up to Donald Trump?? What in the world would make you think this??

I don't mean to be snarky. I don't think I am smarter than anybody else. I am not trying to pick a fight here. I just don't see anything but more of the same, Donald Trump will continue to do what he has always done, and Republicans will continue to back him.

It's not too far fetched to think that Trump may decide to resign at some point. Whether it's Friday is another issue. trump never liked the job. He was running as a PR move. He ended up winning. Now he is no longer in control of his schedule, he is under intense scrutiny from the media and others. He is losing it. He may impulsively decide it's not worth it and just give up hoping to return to his former life. He would probably spin it saying that he tried but everybody else obstructed him. We are not deserving of him, etc.... Jared and ivanka may also have been really upset at the latest events. If you also factor in all the pressure from the mueller investigation, i don't think it's impossible he would consider it.

2/3 of the votes in BOTH houses of Congress to make it permanent. If there were that many people ready to do that, they'd impeach him, which takes only a majority in the House to impeach, but 2/3 in the Senate to remove. I recommend reading the 25th again. It's not a shortcut.
