The interesting thing is that their Internet recruitment methods are just about identical to those of "real" ISIS: They appeal to sad, angry, lonely, alienated young men with visions of defending a cause and becoming heroes defending "their" people, which are portrayed as oppressed and discriminated against. So Vanilla ISIS isn't just a clever pun; it's a very apt name.
