Where does Trump see 'beauty' in confederate monuments?? All I see is supremacy and intimidation.

Donald J. Trump‏ @realDonaldTrump 44m44 minutes ago
Sad to see the history and culture of our great country being ripped apart with the removal of our beautiful statues and monuments.

Donald J. Trump‏ @realDonaldTrump 30m30 minutes ago
...the beauty that is being taken out of our cities, towns and parks will be greatly missed and never able to be comparably replaced!

...this is a very bad person - not merely crazy, sick, or inept - Donald Trump is vile and contemptible.

He's determined to force his inner bigotry on the American public, desperately looking for someone to validate his most racist and divisive instincts and beliefs. He's not fit to enjoy the benefits of our diverse and magnanimous nation, or, much less, be president.

1. "supremecy and intimidation" IS the beauty he sees.

But mostly the beauty to him is in their votes.

6. Trump could be forgiven for believing the entire republican party is fully behind his bigotry

...but most of them a lot more shy than he's been about revealing their true colors.

Despite the republican party true believers and the ones who tolerate the bigotry and racism without lifting a finger to stop it, he's still struggling to push past 35% approval among all voters polled.

3. don the con playing up to his base

because that is all he has left, and in his mind we are his enemies. Sick bastard that he is.

Also he and those hate groups can take all those slogans and their disgusting pet names for us to the gutter with them. Like Alt-left, antifa, and also people on the left (Democrats) are still bitter because he won that's what I think about that.

4. It doesn't have the appearance of 'playing' anymore

...this looks to be a sincere effort by Trump to validate his white supremacist beliefs and notions, and to effect as much of that bigotry into action or law.

5. In his sick mind

he wants to be king/dictator and he has shown his admiration for these hate groups and to declare division and hate in the US.

When does this stop???? When he leaves, or the seeds of hate have already been planted?

9. I think most of these folks are like the young man who ripped his supremacy gear off when confronted

...once there's an adult in the house, and true moral authority prevails, the majority of the frenetic, racist role-players and posturers will ooze back under the rocks from whence they came.

This is a crisis of leadership.

8. If a well crafted artistic rendition of a bust of Adolf Hitler can be said to have "beauty"...

...than I suppose a "historic" statue of Stonewall Jackson can be said to have the same. Why should we want to have anything to do with either?

14. For some it is not mutually exclusive. For him white supremacy and intimidation of blacks is

a good thing. They want to make sure we know our place after Obama was elected. To not get too big in our britches.

16. He has NO artistic taste

http://www.pressherald.com/2016/03/18/trumps-first-media-controversy-is-a-really-great-story/

So we will just leave it at this:

“There is nothing I would like to do more than give something to a museum,” he said in a recent interview. Why? “I’ve always been interested in art.” A visitor observed that there was no art in Mr. Trump’s office. The developer considered this for a moment. Then, with a smile, he pointed to an idealized illustration of Trump Tower hanging on one of the walls.

” ‘If that isn’t art,’ Mr. Trump said, ‘then I don’t know what is.’ “

of 60 Minutes when he was interviewed by Judy Woodruff in his office when he was running and in his office all he had was pictures of himself on the walls that was rather telling how narcissistic/grandiose he is.

Jules‏ @jules_su 12h12 hours ago

Just reminding everyone that Trump signed an EO to remove national parks, but is fighting tooth and nail to keep statues of Robert E. Lee.
