Are We Facing A New Kind Of Civil War Over Confederate Flag & Monuments?.

It is likely we can expect counter protest and vicious backlash over the removal of these treasonness symbols. Trumps tweets today are inciting his base and the white supremacists implying that "they and their racist culture are being erased". In the days ahead Trump will likely double down double down and double down even more going forward. Meanwhile the GOP leadership and GOP legislators across the nation will remain silent.

One can only wonder what is going on in the white supremacist and KKK camps and militia camps now that they have an ally in the White House. That fact that many of them are now armed with deadly weapons means that clashes could become more dangerous. And what will the police do if the militias start shooting?.

There are many more people who don't like conflict and will bend any way the wind seems to blow

When all this has shaken out a bit, most people will say they've always been opposed to the monuments
