The General Services Administration is completely overhauling the HVAC system, repairing the South Portico steps on the South lawn, painting, replacing carpets and curtains, and updating the IT system (President Barack Obama called the internet connection "sketchy" in places). According to CNN, they are also doing structural repairs to address literal leaks and flies on the wall:

6. What's strange about this relationship

that of Trump and Tony Schwartz, is that, apparently, there was no confidentiality agreement. I'm a ghostwriter myself. ALWAYS have a confidentiality clause in my contracts and know that my clients could sue the shit out of me if I ever revealed my authorship. Don't know how Schwartz pulled this off.
