For all the rhetoric from the White House - lets remember that it was Trumps gal - Nikki Haley who got the ball rolling removing confederate flags and statues.

But this is a moment in which we can say that that flag, while an integral part of our past, does not represent the future of our great state. The murderer now locked up in Charleston said he hoped his actions would start a race war. We have an opportunity to show that not only was he wrong, but that just the opposite is happening.

Let them chew on that for a while!!!

1. Nikki Haley is a mystery. She keeps having outbreaks of rationality.

Why she ever signed on with Dear Leader is the million dollar question.

The ones trying to get rid of McMaster and such.

And she was also one of the first ones the TP'ers turned on and labeled a "RINO"...(long before the confederate flag thing)

Its only because of the Trump sheen that she is accepted.

4. Ironically, Trum could have completely taken credit for the counter-protest!

And he could point to Haley...

If these people had their shit together - they would have hauled Haley into Trumps office and said "Help us finesse this issue..." And come up with some sort of sane statement/sentiment.

Reading her remarks above - clearly she was tiptoeing though a minefield. But looking back, she pretty much pulled it off without too much trouble...
