Trump Spiritual Advisor Paula White: "if you oppose Trump, you're fighting against the Hand of God"
Right-wing pastor Jim Bakker interviewed televangelist Paula White, one of President Trump’s key spiritual advisers, on his television program today, where she declared that opposition to the president is opposition to God and explicitly praised Trump for not sounding or acting presidential.
“Thank goodness he’s not a polished politician. In other words: whether people like him or not, he’s been raised up by God because God says that He raises up and places all people in places of authority. It is God that raises up a king, it is God that sets one down and so when you fight against the plan of God, you’re fighting against the hand of God.”
Later in the show, when Paula White declared that Christians “were sent here to take over,” the host Jim Bakker excitedly agreed, asserting “that’s why we have the president we have!”
White then proceeded to sell “resurrection seeds” for $1144 - a price she claims was personally set by God.

She had divorced that slimeball Bakker while he was in prison. She remarried a year later (I wasn't not impressed with him either). She had more layers than make-up too. Here's more info at Wiki.
X-DH2of3 was a fundie and would watch their show quite a bit. I couldn't stand Jim Bakker but Tammy never bothered me that much. The makeup was OTT but I always felt it was a type of mask that she hid behind.

The word of God, delivered by God's messenger, the "prosperity gospel" preacher married to the guy from Journey.
The "Behind the Music Directors Cut" of Journey is tough to watch. Perry is interviewed, as are Cain and Schon. Perry's talking about hiking one day and out of nowhere experiencing excruciating, paralyzing agony. Next step is dealing with the emotional and financial heartache that comes with getting it treated...in his case, hip surgery.
And during this, Cain and Schon are going "Duuuuuuuuuuuude...we need to get back on the road, duuuuuuuuuude..."
So when the singer who needed a new hip didn't commit to a date to get back on the road, they hired a guy who sounded as close to him as possible, and went back on the road.
Never mind the fact that the duuuuuuuuuude with the bad hip came along at a time, after their third album, where they were facing the very real prospect of having to break up due to lack of fame and fortune. The bad hip duuuuuuuuuuuuude, via his performing and songwriting skills, put them on the map and made them all multi-millionaires. He was even gracious enough to say "Look...go on the road while I am getting my new hip but PLEASE DON'T CALL IT JOURNEY," but they got a guy who sounded like him and kept the name anyway and made a couple of albums with him and hit the road.
Then THAT guy had health issues.
So they hired another guy who had some limited name value in local circles, but didn't really sound like the first two duuuuuuuuuuudes, and they didn't record any new music and they were not packing football stadiums, so they went on YouTube and found a guy in a Journey tribute band and hired HIM.
Then the piano dude married Paula White.
