(15,412 posts)It's about Palin and Steve and Nicole's response to her which was horror. They both worked for McCain and Nicole says in the movie that she didn't vote because she hated Palin so bad.
Not voting is a big deal for us politicos.

(50,254 posts)I remember seeing him on C-Span a few years back, giving what was supposed to be a comic talk to some executive kind of group(might have been the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco) which began with a stream of racist jokes, all of which bombed with an audience he clearly assumed would love that kind of material).

(21,627 posts)They like to couch racist humor in terms of "defying political correctness" - but as you pointed out they're playing to the gallery, and they know it.
Plus, I doubt O'Rourke himself enjoys Irish jokes.

I mean, I do welcome their arc. Glad they're no longer peddling pure evil. But anyone who supported conservative anything or anyone in the last fifty years does not get my actual attention.
They apparently have finally discovered the difference between their ass and a hole in the ground! Wow!
Well, that's nice. Pardon me while I listen to Randi Rhodes and Sam Seder.
