TL;dr "Michael the Black Man" (he calls himself this) who appears behind Trump at nearly every rally runs multiple wild conspiracy-theory websites, belonged to a violent black supremacist cult (according to the Washington Post among others), and was accused of multiple murders in the 1990s (acquitted according to the Post). Michael has a strangely close relationship to republican leaders and has appeared at Mar-a-Lago events and many others.
Michael Symonette, who calls himself "Michael the Black Man," appears at almost every Trump event wearing t-shirts that proclaim "republicans aren't racist" and/or "blacks for Trump," and his signs and t-shirts often advertise his website "Gods2.com," which is apparently filled with all sorts of bizarre things (Symonette is a huge fan of very fringe conspiracy theories, especially conspiracy theories with strange religious aspects -- he has claimed that Oprah is the devil and President Obama the "Beast" (of Revelation) among other things).
Last night posters on this site (and on many other sites and twitter) were noticing "Michael the Black Man" standing behind Trump during the speech. He always manages to find a spot close to Trump, and he always waves a sign ("Blacks for Trump" and wears a t-shirt advertising his views and often his website. Many commented that this guy is directly behind Trump at MANY (most) of his rallies, has appeared in photos and video taken at Mar-a-Lago, has taken photos of himself with Melania Trump, and has appeared at small, limited gatherings like republican fundraising dinners. He seems to have no trouble at all getting very, very close to republican leaders like presidential candidates and governors.
We certainly weren't the only ones wondering about this gentleman and his background. A number of stories appeared today, which dig into his political views and his history -- and these views would seem to be problematic for the Trumpers. So far the Trump people have refused to respond to any of these articles or reply to any questions regarding Mr. Symonette.
The Washington Post:
"The radical fringe activist from Miami once belonged to a violent black supremacist religious cult, and he runs a handful of amateur, unintelligible conspiracy websites. He has called Barack Obama The Beast and Hillary Clinton a Ku Klux Klan member. Oprah Winfrey, he says, is the devil.Mans turbulent history or extreme political views."
Most curiously, in the 1990s, he was charged, then acquitted, with conspiracy to commit two murders.
But Michael the Black Man loves President Trump.
Its unclear whether the White House or Trumps campaign officials are aware of Michael the Black
