Don't ever be this guy

http://theconcourse.deadspin.com/dont-ever-be-this-guy-1798543621

That’s ABC News chief national correspondent and World News Tonight anchor Tom Llamas up there, live from flood-devastated Houston, with what I’m pretty sure is the worst tweet in history. Holy fucking shit, man.

Imagine not only:

Having the sick impulse to call the cops, from the site of one of the worst flood disasters in American history, to report victims of that flood for looting a supermarket; but also:

Actually following through on that impulse by calling the fucking cops on desperate flood victims for looting a supermarket in the middle of one of the worst flood disasters in American history; but also, on top of that:

Having the impulse to go on fucking Twitter and report to your 21,000 followers that you called the cops on desperate flood victims for looting a supermarket; and then, holy fucking God...

Actually doing that.

Man is an idiot I'd he thought that tweet would make it all better.

Hungry and thirsty people taking things from a grocery store with insurance during a national disaster, and he calls the police on them.

Katrina taught me only one thing (my mind is simple and I missed the other lessons): white people "find food", black people doing the same, are simply looting.

Stop them owlhoots dead in their tracks, you would have. Pretty goddam bold of people victimized by a flood to think that none of the norms and rules of decent society apply anymore. Imagine! Taking goods that can't be sold and are going to be written off as a total loss by the supermarket anyway for your own personal consumption. Scandalous! Good think Tommy the Tattler was on hand to put a stop to this.

I can't wrap my head around the mindset that many republicans have that people who are "getting something" that they perceive is not deserved should be punished.

He could be a Republican, or maybe just a generic asshole.

there is a 100% probability he's a Republican with a margin of error of +/- 0%
