A volunteer fireman just collapsed and may have died on live tv. Meantime Trump gearing up for

speech -- now he's blathering about his FRIENDS AND WHO LIKED HIM FROM THE "BEGINNING." I have been flipping back and forth between CNN and Faux for coverage of the hurricane (Faux goes on mute). On Faux, just as they were about to transfer to the Orange Creep, a volunteer fireman, who has been rescuing people for hours and hours, collapsed and may have died. He went down very quickly. He was motionless and was lifted onto a raft and (hopefully) taken away to receive effective medical care.

Sigh. Now Trump is reciting empty phrases written for him by Stephen Miller. Trump really cares! Barf.

It's time to stop covering Trump's campaign rallies. If he wants to do something as the president, then cover it. But if all he's doing is holding another private campaign stop, I don't see why the media have any obligation to drop everything and give him more free air time.

laugh at how you said what you did.

"Blah, blah, blah. Goodbye." 😄

Good riddance to bad rubbish. As my ancestors said back in the day.

His visit to Texas was him not having a clue about what to say or how to act.

When he did talk it was all inappropriate for the occasion. He started to brag to the governor of Texas and then caught himself because I'm sure someone told him at some point that it isn't over yet and that things can still go horribly wrong and he can look very bad.

Then standing on the fire truck waving the Texas flag was what a moron would do. Or a very small child who has no clue of the seriousness of the situation.

I also think he doesn't have a clue about how to act when he isn't at one of his rallies. He really flounders and just trips all over his own tongue.

It just opens and out comes the usual drivel. He could sleep soundly through his own so-called speeches.

13. Exactly what I thought! It looked...just grotesque. Like, "see, here's a flag! It's all better!"

What an empty shell he is -- even shrub managed that one moment at ground zero. Trump is too stupid to improvise in any way whatsoever. And my god compared to our last real president, who actually hugged real people, and did things went the cameras weren't on...

Total opposites in every imaginable way. That goes for the First Ladies and the children too.

The contrast is mind boggling!
