Mitt Romney accuses President Barack Obama of Chicago-style politics

The Mitt Romney teams latest is to win voters by accusing President Barack Obama of practicing Chicago-style politics.
Is this the best theyve got?
This is the newest variation of a narrative that Republicans have been building for the past few months. Some of them spit out Chicago as if its a four-letter word. And if they say it enough, then no one will vote for Obama in November!
See how it works?
Now thats a strategy.

(8,224 posts)Actually from what I hear, Texas and Louisianna have had a thing or two to teach Chicago.
There once was a fabled speech in Louisianna politics that included the famous line "... his daughter is a well known thesbian and his son was caught matriculating in public". (Given to a not so literate crowd)
Or of course the tale Bill Moyers relates about LBJ filtering out word that his Senate opponent was caught having sexual relations with barnyard animals. Moyers reportedly told LBJ "you can't say that because it is not true" and LBJ replied "Yes I can, and of course it is not true, but he will spend the next 10 days denying it".
So far, the only thing the Obama camp has done is to question the actual records that Rmoney touts as his "experience". This is still softball. It is not even aggressive by Chicago standards. All he needs to do is pick up Bain and shine a light on it, the questions ask themselves.
How is it that experience shuttering factories and sending jobs to India and China make this man desirable as President? (this is what he actually did and claims to be proud of, it is a very fair question)
