What do you think the odds are that a tax cut bill comes out of Congress?

I was thinking they should be kind of low. But I'm not really sure about what's going on in the Senate, and the lobbyists sure are taking the the bill seriously.

The rest of us get almost nothing from it or it is a tax hike bill.

3. They have to pass something. If they can't pass a tax cut for the rich, Donnie's toast

My guess is it will be rather scaled down compared to what they are hoping, but they still need to pass something. Not just Donnie, all the republicans are in trouble if they can't pass a tax cut for the rich.

Big donors will be seriously pissed if they can't do that.

They're probably scribbling it with their crayola sets at this very moment.

It was 52-48 when they tried to ram through Trumpcare three or four times, and it always failed for the same reason: No politician on earth is going to do anything to jeopardize his seat, and a LOT of Congress-critters would be looking for work after kids and grandmothers started dying from lack of health coverage.

A reasonable analysis of this atrocity of a bill will show three things: it stands a very good chance of destroying the nation, it slashes Donald Trump's own taxes, and it'll raise a lot of Common Men's taxes. And we're back into Seat Protection Mode.
