Expressing sorrow and outrage on the internet is like pissing yourself in a dark suit:
It gives you a warm feeling but most won't notice.

Convincing people that already agree with you is merely the illusion of action- getting the fence-sitters and
uninvolved to work with you is the only way forward for gun control (or any other issue, for that matter)

The NRA, Gun Owners of America, et al, are not going away and will never agree with you.
Out-organizing, outspending, and out-voting them is the only way to defeat them.

1. Yes, especially given the unconstitutional and violent attack on our government

by Mitch McConnell when he refused to abide by his constitutional duty and allow the majority their SC pick.

When he further violated his duty by making way for a pick by the minority, he all but ended any shot at fixing our stupid Heller decision and saving many lives.

We do need to organize and vote and donate and so on, for sure.

Now DIRECTLY because of the "both candidates are the same" attitude, none of our efforts even if successful will see fruit for a very long time because of lifetime appointments on the courts and in the interim many will die and millions more will have their lives DESTROYED whether they are POC, gay or whatever.

THAT will happen even if we win every election for the foreseeable future.

Now sure, all of this is REAL bad, maybe even LIFE ending for many, but anything is better than a ... ... ... oops, almost went there again
