(720 posts)Perhaps the NRA started as a bipartisan organization decades ago, but it has been a mouthpiece and blank check for the Republican party for years. That became crystal clear during President Obama's administration (if not before). If you contribute to the NRA you are funding Republicans like Roy Moore, Tom Coburn and others of their ilk.

so he ran against a gop clown who i swear would have trouble telling you which end of a rifle the bullet came out
long story short...nra endorsed and supported the gop slime....
i had warned him that would happen but he was still shocked.
Even with his very extensive nra resume they did not even consider him.
Dale took it as a personal insult which it obviously was and cut off the nra cold turkey
