A Man Thought He Lost Everything In The California Wildfires. Then Deputies Found His Cat- Milo.


Milo the cat was reunited with his owner after being found slightly singed and meowing underneath a car

The sheriff's department posted a video showing a deputy coaxing the cat from under a car to safety.

"Law enforcement proudly serving their community in times of crisis has been amazing," the sheriff's department wrote along with the video.

he must have been traumatized. So happy he is back with his family. Cute guy, even with singed whiskers. Happy news for a change.

I can imagine the anxiety and heartbreak Milo's dad/butler was going through, not only coping with Milo's loss but also trying to block out various mental scenarios of Milo's suffering.

What a relief for them both!

He seems to be saying I'm not amused by all this and where's breakfast. I am really happy he was found safe. I just can't imagine all the others that didn't have this happy ending. As a veterinarian the thought of all pets and wildlife that didn't make it breaks my heart.
