The obvious answer to all the questions is

This is a criminal mob that has taken over our country. Based out of Russia with international reach. They have been nurturing trump and his compatriots for decades for this moment. They have shown they are willing to murder to retain their power. Taking them down will be a
gargantuan task with worldwide implications and dare I say, resistance, that will take some real courage.
