I can't imagine any scenario where Zimmerman isn't screwing up BADLY by going on Hannity.

1. He's giving "his side of the story," pretty much his testimony, in public, which will undoubtedly help the prosecution. Most people in his predicament are told by their lawyer not to talk to anyone about the case.

2. The judge and jury will more than likely see it for the sympathy ploy that it is. I bet it'll be somewhat rehearsed and with softball questions.

3. The fact that the interview is with one of the most polarizing pundits on TV will further serve to politicize the case. The fact that he has already reached out publicly to Hannity is suspect.

Sorry, George. No book deal for you.

are people who DO NOT watch faux and I can't imagine that's the jury his lawyer wants.

The first thing the prosecution should ask potential jurors is if they saw zippy on the hate-me show.

right wing morons sent him and is looking for more?
Why all the hate? The man has shit to buy!

I think you nailed it at the end: He thinks if he can garner enough attention from the right wing, he can get rich through either book deals or speaking engagements like NotJoe the NotPlumber and Sarah Palin. The sad thing is he's probably right.

On Lawrence O'Donnell show last night he or one of his guests (Charles Blow and some one else) said that Mark O'Mara, Zimmerman's lawyer said specifically the interview was to get donations to the defense fund started up again.

I think some of Zimmerman's supporters were pissed he had to make bail again because of lying to the judge at the first bail hearing. Plus, paying out for a million dollar bail cost them a lot more than the original hundred thousand bail.

The other side of the story just so happens to be dead ... at Zimmy's hands and because of his provocations. The judge should have revoked his bond and kept his sorry ass in jail up until trial ... as well as invoke a gag order to shut Zimmy's damn mouth up.

He even supplied the correct words when Z stammered or sought a word. all Z had to do was say yes or no when it was obvious which one of those answers Hannity wanted.

Not sure, but I think he even admitted to this. If this is true, he doesn't need to be practicing law. Zimmerman screwed himself badly. When Sean asked him a question about Treyvon running away from him, Zimmerman answered that that was not possible, because Treyvon was "skipping" away from him.
