if she doesn't. She has to know that. I think she will, but it's still going to hurt her politically, in my opinion. You don't just fly off the handle like that without fact checking, and that's something she didn't do.

Everyone's favorite pastime - criticize, condemn and complain - about Hillary Clinton, is going leave a lot of people who had higher political aspirations, in the dust. I feel so sorry for Hillary. She didn't deserve all of this bullshit. You really find out who your friends are in your toughest times. A woman who has often put public service before her own life is treated like dirt.

Is she a perfect woman? No, no one is perfect, but no one works harder for her constituents than Hillary Clinton either. She certainly didn't deserve all of the crap people threw at her. Not only the gad-damned Republicans, but from her own damned party! I wouldn't blame her if she never raised another cent for the Democratic party. But she wouldn't do that, she has too much class. Grace under pressure. Here's to you, Hillary Rodham Clinton!

Some people take it for granted so much that women should apologize, that they don't even notice when they do.

Hillary Clinton, Citing Her ‘Mistake,’ Apologizes for Private Email

Hillary Rodham Clinton acknowledged on Tuesday that her use of a private email server while she was secretary of state was a “mistake,” and apologized directly for it, uttering words that many of her allies have waited to hear from her in hopes that she can quell a controversy that has dogged her presidential candidacy for months.

“That was a mistake. I’m sorry about that. I take responsibility,” Mrs. Clinton said in an interview with David Muir of ABC News broadcast Tuesday night. “And I’m trying to be as transparent as I possibly can.”

https://qz.com/1077873/hillary-clinton-book-how-many-times-clinton-apologized-in-what-happened/

Hillary Clinton is the first and only woman to have given a big US presidential concession speech—and she is the first and only candidate to say “I’m sorry.”

Trust a woman to do that. Research finds that women apologize more than men, likely because people are faster to judge women for their behavior. Clinton has since acknowledged time and again her own responsibility for losing the 2016 US presidential election.

Months later, apologies continue to abound in her new book about the campaign, What Happened.

Nevertheless, many appear deaf to her words of acknowledgement: From political analysts to president Trump himself, the rumor has taken hold that Hillary Clinton blames everyone but herself.

As it became clear that Donald Trump would become the next leader of the free world, Hillary Clinton called President Obama — and apologized.

"Mr. President, I'm sorry," Clinton told the sitting commander in chief as her unexpected election loss became reality, according to a Washington Post review of a new book about the Democratic presidential candidate's failed 2016 campaign.

hate this reply, but not for the reasons you might assume. If I had been present when any of those apologies were made, I would be unable to stop from shouting:

NOT ONE OF THOSE THINGS NEEDS AN APOLOGY!!!!!!!

Every one of those was nothing but a RW talking points. They were, particularly to the extent they were portrayed as important, all lies. Secretary Clinton had ZERO need to apologize for the other side's fucking lies.

I happen to believe that massive strategic mistakes were made by the "geniuses" running her campaign that had more to do with losing than all the other bullshit she had to endure but damn, this idea that she made the kind of mistakes in her words, deeds, or actions that had any effect on this election is not just insulting to her it's insulting to the truth.

You know why we can't have nice things today? It's because Hillary lost the election. You know why she lost the election? Because she has high negatives. You know why she has high negatives? Because people like Brazile tell lies and they get repeated so often that the lie becomes the truth.

Now if Donna was as big a person as the one she attacked she would say she was wrong. And if enough people would have done that during Hillary's time in the public sphere she would be president today. And we would have some pretty nice things.

How can Elizabeth Warren be moronic enough to basically agree with that statement? It plasters the theme in public discourse. So no matter what Trump did involving Russia, or how many lies he tells on a daily basis, you've got a not insignificant sample of the populous who will dismiss it as meaningless because Democrats are busy with their own corruption...perhaps worse.

At this point with the entire country crumbling down upon us, with the Republicans trying to defraud and assault the American people with their tax fraud scam they are calling reform - why is there anti-abortion language stuck in it, as well as pro-insane Pence Christianity (Johnson amendment) language in it - while the illegitimate President is actually attacking the DOJ she had to be desperate for attention or demonstrating that she is completely incapable of focusing on anything important such as running the country as President.
