It's going to take me awhile to process this latest tragedy....

rather than sharing one of my typical reflex reactions, I am going to go walk around my yard, water my garden, and contemplate my current thinking that the US is in critical condition in so many ways.

And I will think of the victims of this horrific crime.

I can imagine movie theaters starting to adopt metal detectors and high security screenings if something like this happens again.

Maybe they will add metal detectors to theaters, but it wouldn't have helped in Colorado.

When I saw it on the news this morning I just imagined innocent people saying "Hey, let's go see that new Batman movie" then that's it, the end of their lives, for doing something so absolutely harmless and normal.

Thoughts for their families, and for those injured. Horrific.
