fascists? What if our VA election sent a message beyond our borders? Could activist women change the world over a couple of decades? Would it be better?

(58,785 posts)The industrial revolution was and still is huge, along with all the other revolutions that came after that brought women out of isolated dependence on men in homes and into the workforce. Birth control--enormous! Education of women. Moves to jobs in cities, and the liberalization of society that comes with that. Also radio, TV, cell phones.
As for Tuesday, frankly, at this point I doubt there's a people on the planet that still are looking to us for an example to follow. Remember, all peoples think they're special, and we've proven we're dangerously backwards and dangerously unstable.
