They have messed with us enough as it is.

But, apparently if this guy came in a side door after the picture started, then costumes were not a factor.

hide the weapons under his coat. But he got in somehow thru the exit doors, even though those are locked when the movie starts.

involved in such a huge portion more of murders than their sales would lead to to expect? Do they market to nutcases? I know nutcases buy a lot of guns so they would be a very effective market to hit. Apparently S&W is damn good at pandering to murders.

Smith and Wesson are one of the biggest brands in the industry, and have been for many decades. They have a very large market share. Is there data to suggest they're over-represented in gun-related homicides?

But you're right: the entire gun industry, the NRA and their associated "enthusiasts" (including you-know-who right here at good 'ole DU) are good at pandering to the insanity that is gun culture in America in 2012.
