I don't really see much difference in your OP than in any of the other OPs on the subject.

I do concur that the speculation doesn't really do any good but you yourself speculated that he was not "mentally healthy". Most of the OPs I have seen on the subject are decrying the lack of help available for people suffering from impairments that affect their mental well being. And that is a fact that we all pay a high price for.

I'm sorry but there is no way that I'm going to consider someone who shoots 70 strangers sane.
So yes I'm interpreting that his mental health is impaired.

I don't know the degree to which he showed mental impairment.
We know that other shooters have been under care but the mental health professional did not expect the individual to turn into a mass murderer.

I don't think mental health availability is necessarily a comprehensive solution.
Because I'm not sure that ill people know they are ill.
