11. That's the thing...I am a Christian, a Catholic, but not a Roman Catholic.

I belong to a Catholic Church that does not fall under the auspices of the pope (long story). The priest is allowed to marry, etc.

When I see religion being twisted around to conform to political ideals, I can't reconcile that.

Being a Christian, in my mind, should be about generally trying to follow the teachings of Christ. I try to do this as much as I can, but sometimes fail miserably.

I see many "Catholics" that seem not to have a clue about Christ.
