There is a group of people in Alabama who demonstrate a level of courage not often seen. They are those who are coming forward to tell their stories about sexual harassment and worse they experienced or knew about from Judge Roy Moore. While it is not being covered in the media, all of them who have been named are receiving threats, including death threats, and additional harassment in large quantities.
Looking at the comments on news stories, it's clear that the right-wing cretins are following their typical pattern of attempting to intimidate any who doesn't agree with them. That's been going on since about forever. And when that group of knuckle-draggers has actual names of people, they take their venom directly to those people.
Most people are aware of this sort of activity, but perhaps not all people. In any case, those who have brought their stories to public attention have done so in the face of a menacing flood of threatening behavior.
Bravery. Courage. Dedication. All of those things are part of the makeup of those who have put the spotlight on Moore's deplorable behavior as an adult toward girls and young women. We should applaud those brave people as publicly as the haters condemn and threaten them.

(24,764 posts)Roy Moore's victims have a lot more to lose by having the guts to come out with the truth about Moore, including unjust attacks on their characters, especially since all but one are conservative Republicans, some whom actually voted for tRump.
It's also crystal clear that Moore is as much a pathological narcissist as is tRump. It's obvious given his apparent God complex.
