They don't hide it. They flaunt it. They still work for cash. A sister of mine that is a teacher, has a student tell her something a few years back, that was very interesting. She asked her class (3rd graders) what they were going to do when they grew up. One boy said that he was going to draw, like his dad and uncles. My sisters asked if they were artists. The boy replied "no"; he meant "draw" as in a check. Yeah, white and poor in KY.
