I was a 13 year old boy. Talk about getting a rapid education in political and social events. I was glued to the television for the next three days, numb.
The execution of Oswald was the end of any hope about finding the actual reason for the assassination of Kennedy. The gun culture in America started that very day. When people found out the use of guns could hide a multitude of sins - even the murder of a President - that changed America forever.
