Divide and Conquer, Russian Style
How do you distract the majority of Americans who hate and despise Trump? How do you make them take their eyes off the prize and start fighting among themselves? You divide them by gender, men versus women.
Divide and Conquer is the only way that a minority of elites can stay in power in a democracy. Whites versus Blacks. Natives versus immigrants. Old versus young. And men versus women.
Here's an idea. Instead of arguing about whether this or that Democratic politician ought to resign, go read (or re-read) Angela Davis, "Women, Race and Class" and then ask yourself will your children's lives be better for what you are doing today?
