This scandal almost seems quaint at this point - a throwback to a time when just being caught in flagrante delicto with a woman not your wife could bring a man down. Now, it’s not clear that this is true (especially for a Republican).


I feel like we’ve reached the point where at least a plurality of Republicans believe there is literally no sin a member of their party can commit that disqualifies them. They care only about tax cuts, banning abortion and boxing in LGBT folks and POC. Nothing else matters.
