More Alabamans jumping off the pervert Moore bandwagon in light of Navy SEALs comments

Young Repubs in Alabama say "innocent until proven guilty does not mean electable..." Not everyone giving an alleged statutory rapist a pass in Alabama.

Except Trump of course. Trump would have been a Navy SEAL but...for the bone spurs... (quoting one of the funnier comments on the AOL site).

Rep. Scott Taylor was a Navy SEAL. The real thing. He said: "The 14-year-old girl that was there, I can tell you right now if it was my daughter, I'd break his face, I'd break his fingers, and I'd probably do a lot worse."

Love those Trumpettes in the comment section twisting themselves into pretzels trying to spin Moore's statutory rape allegations and this comment away.

The comments reflect the GOP moral double standard perfectly. Pretzels. Crumbs. Trolls. Real Russian bots posing as FAUX Navy SEALS. More than one turkey roasting this morning!

'If it was my daughter, I'd break his face': Republican lawmaker and former Navy SEAL unleashes on Roy Moore

And this is the dinner conversation across the country today, believe me (as Trump would say). I don't think it will go over well.

I fear he would have done serious damage.

I once got fired from a berry picking job the day seasonal bonuses would be paid. Why? I wrote a bad word on a dilapidated outhouse with a strawberry. Dad called the farmer and said pay or he'd rip every damn strawberry plant out of every field on the farm. They asked if he knew what I wrote on the outhouse door, and he went WOBBLY on them. Never saw him so mad in my life. Was sure I was DOA. All he said to me was "I didn't fall off the damn turnip truck yesterday. You go back there and get your pay."

Go figure. Dads are like that sometimes, right?

He also appeared on the front porch in his boxers one morning to shake his fist at the berry bus because some boys called me a "chink" and a "gook," and I later asked him what those words meant (very sheltered kid here). It did not enhance my reputation on the job. I think I was about 14 at the time. I can laugh now. Not so much then.

I'm sure. That's especially true if the offender is some guy in his 30s. Everyone in Alabama needs to think about that and how they would feel if it were their daughter. That's how they should decide whether to vote for Roy Moore. He should lose in a landslide.

However, many people will not personalize it that way, I'm afraid. Not their daughter? Not their problem.

I suspect it will get personal. Because some nasty woman relative (me) will ask what they would say if it was their daughter.

BTW, I agree with you that most dads I know would wipe the grin off the pervert's face.

But then there are those unfit fathers who will vote for the prevent anyway.
Why?... Simply because he is a Republican and that means more than his stupid family.
Right, Republican dads?

I was blessed. He was an FDR Democrat who actually voted for him, Kennedy, LBJ, Carter and Clinton. I think he went for Ike after the war because he was military. But Nixon he would not vote for if you put a gun to his head, so he got that right.

Gave some the benefit of the doubt that they had some core beliefs, but no I think I was wrong. They have been systematically brainwashed so that certain words and ideas trigger mass hypnosis. Anything about Obama or race. Cutting taxes. God, guns and abortion. And into that vast wasteland come the new Russian oligarchs with their anchor babies being raised from birth to manipulate and exploit us and our system.
