U.S. President Donald Trump replied on Twitter the words "Make America Great Again" Thursday morning to a tweet from "@ThePlumLineGS," who had posted a Washington Post article criticizing Trump for regularly targeting African Americans in his Twitter storms.

Trump's tweet was immediately perceived as an endorsment, if not a boast, about the notion his attacks on African Americans are part of his strategy to "Make America Great Again."
