Lawyers for Michael Flynn have cut ties with Pres. Trump's legal team, he's flipped.

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/11/23/us/politics/flynn-mueller-russia-trump.html

Lawyers for Michael T. Flynn, President Trump’s former national security adviser, notified the president’s legal team in recent days that they could no longer discuss the special counsel’s investigation, according to four people involved in the case, an indication that Mr. Flynn is cooperating with prosecutors or negotiating such a deal.

Mr. Flynn’s lawyers had been sharing information with Mr. Trump’s lawyers about the investigation by the special counsel, Robert S. Mueller III, who is examining whether anyone around Mr. Trump was involved in Russian efforts to undermine Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.

That agreement has been terminated, the four people said. Defense lawyers frequently share information during investigations, but they must stop when doing so would pose a conflict of interest. It is unethical for lawyers to work together when one client is cooperating with prosecutors and another is still under investigation.

The notification alone does not prove that Mr. Flynn is cooperating with Mr. Mueller. Some lawyers withdraw from information-sharing arrangements as soon as they begin negotiating with prosecutors. And such negotiations sometimes fall apart.

Still, the notification led Mr. Trump’s lawyers to believe that Mr. Flynn — who, along with his son, is seen as having significant criminal exposure — has, at the least, begun discussions with Mr. Mueller about cooperating.

But when Rachel talked about Flynn's military career earnings it became clear why he'd need some help. But when Trump cut off the funds right when Flynn's son is behind the 8 ball I thought, Flynn's going to flip. Flynn has to be angry enough to be dropped like a hot potato after helping get Trump elected a la "lock her up".

I don't really hope that Flynn can make a deal. But if it nails Trump's butt then it would be worth it to watch Flynn wave to the Trump's behind bars.

In order to properly follow the Nixon Protocol, we HAVE to get Pence fully pinned to the wall before we can really go after the Hair.

If it happens before 2018 changes any balance of power in the Senate/House we'd still end up with a Republican, but hopefully one better than the immature dotard or the guy who watches Hulu's "The Handmaid's Tale" as inspiration for his Presidency.

Sadly, we previously could have said such incompetence would render one ineligible for the office, but look at his boss.

I just wonder if there is any way to expunge this "presidency;" to make it as if it never happened...

Especially when they brought the Turkey and rendition matter in and also his son into the mix....and not just the huge legal bills piling up with no end in sight and no money covering them....

But the biggest reason I assumed he flipped a long time ago: He is subject to charges not just under the regular civilian law, but under military law and UCMJ.

Death penalty stuff people under military code of justice....I figure Mueller had so much on him that they sat Misha down and basically said "here's what you are facing....never seeing the light of day (even death penalty if the Military court goes after him), broke and in debt (for your family too) and your son also in jail for decades....

Or you work with us and tell us what you know about Trump and Russia and all involved....and you and your family might have some freedom.... at least your son and your wife will not be on the street broke....

All these ridiculous updates are just that, ridiculous. Mueller isn’t leaking shit, so any leaks are more than likely coming from Trump’s team. And naturally, everyone here falls all over it, thinking that maybe tomorrow Trump’ll be indicted and impeached.

And Mueller isn’t investigating Trump’s taxes or mob ties, another refrain i hear around here all too often. Mueller’s only got 20ish people on his team and the vast majority of them are lawyers.

I fear that he’s going to take down Manafort and Flynn, and maybe a couple others, and then call it a day. I kinda suspect his real target is Bannon.
