James Holmes: terrorist

Just because James Holmes unleashed his opinions with every bullet he discharged instead of strapping a backpack full of explosives and blowing himself up along with his victims, doesn’t mean he isn’t a terrorist and just because he purchased his guns and ammunition legally, doesn’t mean he isn’t a terrorist. Just because James Holmes acted alone, doesn’t mean he isn’t a terrorist and just because he is white doesn’t mean he isn’t a terrorist.

1. To be fair, what he did may be terrorizing...A terrorists actions are aimed

at changing a government's policies...We'd need to see some manifesto or other writings of Homles to call him a true terrorist.
He may just be some sad, mentally unstable person who "fell through the cracks" of our mental health system...He did refer to himself as the Joker and did plase sophisticated booby-traps at his apartment.
If he had a political agenda, the police would have mentioned or hinted at it.

I feel terror thinking about going anywhere in large public gatherings.

The extra security doesn't make me feel any less terror.

5. Terror is for terrors sake. There need not be a political motivation.

From everything that I have read and heard on the news he is a smart person. His mother was the only person who said anything surprising - "You have the right person" - or something to that affect.
