Manafort sneakily got Trump to accept Pence as VP, on that infamous day when Manafort lied to Trump about the campaign plane needing repairs, so that Trump had to stay on the ground, and meet with Pence.
Mike Pence's brother, Ed Pence is VP for Cummins, a majority owned Russian state engine company since 1987.
Cummins uses Lobbying firm PPG.
PPG is run by Charles Black
Black was a former partner w/ Manafort in Ukraine PPG worked w/ TRNC as did Flynn.
Pence ignored warnings and got Flynn hired for Trump's Adviser.
More detail of this web, and why Flynn is so important to Mueller's investigation of Manafort and Pence.

The more we look, the more motives we find.
Pence's other brother, Greg, is running for the Senate in Indiana. I hope he loses big.

(34,661 posts)one at Cummins. Recall their footprint in Russia and big time East Germany in the late eighties. Shipped finished Cast Aluminum parts to their European plants.
Greg Pence had a major fund raiser last week, that story was posted on Raw Story .
Pence is as dirty as Trump.

(34,661 posts)Funny how life experiences always touch on certain things later on. Never thought the day would come, when a Job which was a stop off for something better in ones life, would cause a recall of something like,I remember doing all the Documents on those shipments to Austria and forwarded to a Russian Assembly Plant. Talk about Paperwork, wow. Irony being, these parts are going to a firm who now is run by a Guy who's Brother is a Compromised Tool of Russia.

The actions of these guys is more about greed and power, than concern for the citizens of these United States and territories.
It needs to stop.

(530 posts)My opinion is that the person currently occupying the White House knew everything that was going on every step of the way. Any talking points, (like "Manafort sneakily got Trump to accept Pence as VP, on that infamous day when Manafort lied to Trump about the campaign plane needing repairs, so that Trump had to stay on the ground, and meet with Pence ") have been carefully designed and executed by the traitorous criminals associated with the coup all the way to the top to give plausible deniability. We collectively should be doing all we can to get them ALL OUT OF THERE NOW.

(3,586 posts)The Russian connections are there in that hodgepodge of links... and I was not aware of those connections... but Cummins is not Russia owned. It's an American company and the largest shareholders are American investment corporations.
http://investors.morningstar.com/ownership/shareholders-overview.html?t=CMI
Scroll down to "equity ownership" and click on "institutions." Institutional investors hold 84.6% of shares. I didn't google them all, but the largest shareholders by far are American investment institutions.

(1 post)The information displayed there is recent. Is there any free source which indicates historical holdings? I'm just wondering how much of it might have been foreign owned and Russian owned.

(60,010 posts)Pence is dirty, too, and Mueller knows it.
Several scenarios possible, all hinge on 2018 election when all 435 House seats are on the line ( and 33 Senate seats)
Assuming that:
Trump gets removed before 2018 elections
Making Pence Pres.
Pence picks a VP.
Pence can be charged and removed, leaving a republican VP.
The Republicans like this scenario.
2nd scenario...
Trump and Pence are removed at same time before 2018 elections
Speaker of the House becomes Pres, ( Paul Ryan)
Problem is Russian money and ties involve him also.
Republicans still like this scenario
3rd option
wait till after 2018 elections, when it is predicted Dems will regain power in the House
Pence and Trump are removed
Speaker of the House becomes Pres. ( Presumed to be Pelosi)
Dems like this scenario
4th option
wait till after 2018 elections, when it is predicted Dems will regain power in the House
Pence and Trump are removed
The speaker of the house is not Pelosi..this can happen because there is no rule that a House speaker has to be a member of the House
House Dems choose a non-member...say, Biden. Or Warren, or Michelle Obama ( who is wickedly smart, btw)
Remember, these are scenarios that contain assumptions, with upsides and downsides, esp. the 4th option.
Dems have to pick up 50 seats in the House in the mid-terms, if I am counting correctly.
Also assumes that the longer we wait to dump Trump, the more danger he puts us all in.

Cummins and KAMAZ have a joint venture in Russia. As do many companies.

(3,586 posts)KAMAZ is the Russia owned company... located in Russia... and Cummins has a partnership with them.
That's not to say that there isn't something here.

(60,010 posts)All the bits and pieces of the story, like how Pence was chosen, are now making the overall plot more clear.
dixiegrrrrl
(60,010 posts)Pence was head of the Transition team, so was the one who hired Flynn.
Cummings sent Pence a letter, warning that Flynn had been up to very questionable things.
Pence ignored the letter, as Cummings figured he would, and hired Flynn.
Lt. Gen. Flynns involvement in advising Mr. Trump on matters relating to Turkey or Russia including attending classified briefings on those matters could violate the Trump for America, Inc. Code of Ethical Conduct, Cummings wrote.
