(58,785 posts)but they're as totally clueless and totally unrepentent as the trumpsters who also voted to keep Democrats out of office. And that's actually a a majority of them. Yet another example that people trending extremist on both left and right have far more in common with each other than with more balanced people. There isnt 1 in 10 who can discuss politics intelligently but 10 in 10 will be sure Democrats are their problem.

(47,014 posts)She has been a hard working public servant and leader for a long time.
And the election was rigged against her by the FBI, Putin and Trump.
He didn't. It was stolen. I understand the electoral college selected him, but if it had not been stolen, then she would have had the numbers across the country and the electoral college would have gone her way, too. She is the legitimate President.

(6,930 posts)I would be interested to know who they voted for. Somehow I doubt it was Hillary. People that bitter certainly did not change enough to vote for our nominee. And if they did not, then what happened is partly on their heads.

(30,481 posts)That said, these people are nothing like Sanders. About once or twice a week Sanders does something in line with these fools and and they use it as motivation. But then Sanders goes out and fights for progressive ideals or against Republican legislation. These fools go home and continue to attack the left on message boards, while being the loudest to proclaim they are great progressives.

(50,254 posts)Who don't do anything remotely like that-a much larger group that essentially doesn't see discussions about Hillary as having any pertinence at all to our current situation-are not collectively responsible for any of the nitwit contingent who claim to be Bernie loyalists.
JHB
(37,159 posts)...i.e., as a Bernie supporter in the primaries because the Party needed a strong showing from its leftward side but went into it knowing I'd support the Party's candidate in the election, I don't have a lot of patience for the blinkered "or bust" foamer contingent.

(50,254 posts)What I'm taking issue with here is the assertion that there's somehow a large group of such people who still believe(or EVER believed)that the Pizzagate accusations had ANY grounding in reality.
I condemn any such person who DOES believe that, but in my experience Pizzagate was largely a right-wing meme.

(14,093 posts)..and you're told to "move on."
The guy insisted on staying in after he mathematically lost, for months, trashing the woman who was the only person standing between the US and a Trumpian nightmare.
And, when he finally did concede, he never spoke out when his cult, including his top campaign surrogates Sarandon and West, joined the Busters and SteinTrumpers and worked for The GOP's benefit.
He similarly was quiet when Trump and Rapist Assange pushed the "It was stolen" BS in the general.
And dont forget Saint Sanders little tantrum when asked to cut a commercial for Hillary.
Since the election he's trashed her and the party, yet goes on Colbert and whines that she needs to "move on"
The Buster cult wanted Trump. Many, like Sarandon, flat out said they preferred him.
And these clowns are fully ready to do this again in 2020, to any nominee, no matter who, who isnt an 80-year-old named "Bernie Sanders." You can already see it in the single issue purity tests they apply to Harris and Warren, while giving Sanders pass after pass on his abysmal gun history.

(6,288 posts)..the actual Progressives who work to better the lives of all citizens.
If they were true Progresssives they would have read Hillary's policy platform & have campaigned for her rather than against her.
Bet they never bothered to know what she stood for.
Bet they just regurgitated the stump speech one-liners shouted out on Facebook by those who set out to destroy US Govt years ago.
They are too stupid to hold the title of Progressive.
Check the pic.
Meanwhile there's a madman in the WH cleaning out our national treasure.

(12,448 posts)Every time someone dares to suggest that maybe, just maybe, it was wrong for "certain people" (yes, I know I can still get alerted) to withhold their vote because of pique, vote for Stein, even vote for Trump, we're told, basically, to STFU.
Who knew the Bernie supporters (gasp!!!!!) would do such a thing? They're so pure, and all.
And yes, yes, I KNOW that many of them voted for Hillary. I'm not talking about you, so save the outrage for the tax bill, mmkay?

(382 posts)We can't change past. Only learn from it. There's lots to accomplish before the 2018 election. Discussions like this are toxic! We should exercise the discipline to avoid them.
There are more productive discussions to have...like who are the up-and-comer candidates running in 2018 and what can we do to help them? Or reporting on what your state is doing about fair elections in 2018 and what can be done to improve them. Or, report on the progress of fixing the Voters Rights Act. Find out who needs volunteers and/or researchers in any areas related to election to help make progress toward fair elections in 2018..
We have no time to waste. The next election is only a year away. Let's get going. We can do this.

(50,949 posts)The ones saying it's Hillary's fault are the ones being toxic.

Do you see any Democrats holding rallies across the country in support of these values and against the rabid right wing GOP tax bill?
