These are the Senators calling on Franken to resign.

Sens. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y.; Mazie Hirono, D-Hawaii; Kamala Harris, D-Calif.; Claire McCaskill, D-Mo.; Maggie Hassan, D-N.H.; Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis.; Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich.; Maria Cantwell, D-Wash.; Heidi Heitkamp, D-N.D.; Catherine Cortez Masto, D-Nev.; Sen. Tammy Duckworth, D-Ill.; Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif.; and Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn., also issued statements or postings on social media Wednesday calling on Franken to step down.
The 14 women were joined by 14 male Senate Democrats: Schumer, Durbin, and Sens. Bob Casey of Pennsylvania, Sherrod Brown of Ohio, Joe Donnelly of Indiana, Michael Bennet of Colorado, Patrick Leahy of Vermont, Ed Markey of Massachusetts, Jeff Merkley of Oregon, Tom Carper of Delaware, Martin Heinrich of New Mexico, Gary Peters of Michigan, Tom Udall of New Mexico and Ron Wyden of Oregon. In addition, Sens. Bernie Sanders of Vermont and Angus King of Maine — both independents who caucus with Senate Democrats — have called on Franken to step down. Tom Perez, chairman of the Democratic National Committee, also called on Franken to resign.

True or false, we'll force them to step down. Not smart.

They still don't seem to understand that we're at war right now... fighting for our "democracy." Rethugs have literally come with their guns and we have plastic spoons.

This will only embolden Bannon and other GOP dirty tricksters. We need the due process system to have a chance to work. This is beginning to look like a panic attack.

This is why "they go low, we go high" doesn't work. Ratfucking and dirty tricks work unless you fight back. I am not saying that we should be as bad as the Republicans but you need to show spine sometimes. People respect strength and looking weak demoralizes voters.

So many threads, so posting here, thanks for this list.

I’ve read all the accusations and my outrage meter just isn’t budging much here on the Franken stories. But as some have said, if more stuff comes out beyond what we’ve been told, that may change.

By now, of course, Al Franken has announced his resignation. What a lousy day.

And I'm assuming Kirsten Gillibrand and the rest of 'em will be holding a Senator Roy Moore to the same standard?

Yeah, right... I already know the answer to that one. We all do.

Franken is being swiftboated. Democrats who call for his resignation and not Trump's are spineless. The women making exaggerated claims against Franken are trivializing the experiences of real victims of sexual assault. And the GOP laughs while foisting Roy Moore on us.
