https://www.cbsnews.com/news/judge-in-mike-flynns-case-recuses-himself/Just saw this and I see no one is saying why. Was he concerned about new RW charges that the Mueller investigation is tainted by Trump hating agents? This is troubling for me and I would like to know what's up.

In reality this is how the court should work.
The RW will go off on not just the recusal but how a Clinton appointed Judge now has the case.

Trump made a huge stink about Judge Curiel's heritage. Who knows? Given this gang's criminal tendencies, no telling what they did behind the scenes.

it has something to do with his assignment issuing FISA warrants. can he rule on cases that he has issued warrants for?

(12,344 posts)6. That's probably the reason
Some of the evidence against Flynn must have been gathered under a FISA warrant he issued. In that case, he might have to rule on the validity of his own decision. That could trigger a recusal. That's how it works when a judge goes to SCOTUS and has to rule on a case he or she already ruled on as a lower judge.
