I have a friend who lived through Columbine.

I can't prove it, so enough about that. You'll have to take my word for it.

But I've known her for years, and she's on emotional lock-down right now.

Look, this has hurt people so much they can't even FATHOM this happened. She's leaving the country and going to teach English. I think that says enough.

I don't have much to contribute, other than the fact she has gone through two mass shootings in the last 13 years. Once as a student at Columbine, and once as a community member in Aurora. It's enough.

America, we need to get our SHIT TOGETHER.

I have nothing left to say, other than the fact that hearing my friend's vacant voice made me cry.
