NCAA: Religious freedom law creates concern for 'future events'

Source: Indianapolis Star

NCAA president Mark Emmert expressed concerned about Indiana's religious freedom law, saying the Indianapolis-based group would examine "how it might affect future events as well as our workforce."

"The NCAA national office and our members are deeply committed to providing an inclusive environment for all our events. We are especially concerned about how this legislation could affect our student-athletes and employees.

"We will work diligently to assure student-athletes competing in, and visitors attending, next week's Men's Final Four in Indianapolis are not impacted negatively by this bill.

"Moving forward, we intend to closely examine the implications of this bill and how it might affect future events as well as our workforce."

7. We need to pressure them on this. Also, Jim Delany (commissioner of the Big Ten Conference)

C.E. Bell has already written a piece stating why Delany should boycott Indiana.

You can read it here: A B1G Ally: Why the B1G Must Boycott The State of Indiana

We need to impress on Delany and the NCAA why this the only correct and fair course of action.

It should be called the Indiana Westboro law or the Indiana Putin law or something similar.
