Des Moines — Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, seeking to regain his standing in this key state in the presidential primary race, spent Monday visiting the Iowa State Fair, where he criticized Republicans in Congress for failing to repeal Obamacare and engaged in at times passionate exchanges with both supporters and critics.

Walker kicked off his visit by taking the stage at a traditional venue surrounded by hay bales and known as the "soap box." There he was greeted by a mix of cheers from supporters and boos from protesters.

The interactions were raucous at times, with protesters shouting criticisms at the governor for his policies.

"Again, unintimidated," Walker said at one point, invoking the title of his 2013 book in response to a protester. "I am not intimidated by you, sir, or anyone else out there. I will fight for the American people."...................

Beautiful to see him crashing and burning.

Little Scotty wasn't ready for prime time and dealing with tough questions.

Give this man a corn dog while he's at the fair. He has nothing to lose.

Big, brave Snott. He's not afraid of people representing only about 11% of workers. and as for those lazy teacher thugs -- they can't intimidate him with all their fancy college-educated words.

I truly HATE him.

added another $400 in interest on loans for the arena is this the President America wants? Sports Arena over Education? And now to day in Iowa, he disclosed he would ban all Unions in the USA if he was President. Is this the man the voters want as President? The people of WISC has elected him to different offices multiple times and he screws them every time. Does the good citizens of WISC learn from there votes? I hope the people of the USA has learned.
Gov. Walker is the puppet of the Koch brothers and they would spent billions transforming this nation, destroying the Construction.

And today some Republican Candidate spoke about the roads, bridges and other structures that need rebuilt, WELL just were have the Republicans been on this subject. They have defeated every effect to improve America roads, bridges, and railroads. They continue to vote NAY on bills.

Poll: Trump strengthens lead atop GOP field

By Jesse Byrnes

Trump is supported by about a quarter of registered Republicans and GOP-leaning independents, 24 percent, followed by former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (13 percent) and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson (9 percent) in the CNN/ORC International poll.

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (8 percent), Florida Sen. Marco Rubio (8 percent) and Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul (6 percent) follow, with Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, businesswoman Carly Fiorina and Ohio Gov. John Kasich tied at 5 percent.

Trump picked up 6 points from a similar poll in July, the most of any GOP candidate. Carson and Fiorina saw increases of 5 and 4 percentage points, respectively.

Those figures come a day after another national poll from Fox News also found Trump with a double-digit lead, followed by Carson and Bush. That poll, however, found Cruz and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee among the top five candidate. They place 7th and 10th, respectively, in the CNN poll..............
