(15,220 posts)I'm in San Antonio and we had five inches overnight. We are in good shape compared to some other areas to our immediate west and south - and now Austin to the north.
Everyone - please be safe!

(5,065 posts)One of my cat foster homes flooded, a coworker flooded, AGAIN. Driveway and roads are washed out, but my house is up high; we'll be fine. And temporarily, the rain has stopped.
You be safe too!

(15,220 posts)My heart goes out to all of the furr-babies that will be out in this! Plus, with Halloween tomorrow night, I'm concerned. It's not my favorite holiday only because of the sickos out there.

(14,656 posts)The rain has been coming a spectacular dumps of water....awakened me twice in the night. The wind slammed the rain....scares me since I'm without house insurance...working with two companies and neither can seem to write the policy accurately! All I need is one of my big live oaks tipping over. BUT, I am thankful for the moisture. CA would love it.

(6,241 posts)during the worst of this storm. We had 2 feet of water over the roads. Wife wanted me to stay home, but I'm out of personal time, and couldn't call in. Made it to work ok. But it was a scary trip.

(5,065 posts)who made it in to work, but then couldn't get out because the roads were now flooded and closed. Good luck to you. Hope you're not living in Onion Creek. It's raining like it's 2012 again.

(6,241 posts)More like the William Cannon/Manchaca area. But Stassney and Manchaca was completely flooded. I saw the water and cut through a parking lot and headed west on Stassney to get over to Westgate, then to Mopac.
But people out there have it much worse than I do. Hope everyone stays safe!
