Actor Who Voiced Charlie Brown Pleads Guilty to Death Threats

A 59-year-old man who voiced Charlie Brown in multiple Peanuts television specials pleaded guilty Tuesday to threatening to hire a hitman to kill the San Diego County sheriff.
Prosecutors said Peter Robbins offered money to have Sheriff Bill Gore murdered, according to the Los Angeles Times. He also pleaded guilty to threatening the manager of a mobile home park in an unrelated incident.
Robbins told the court that he suffers from bipolar disorder and paranoid schizophrenia.
Im mentally ill, he said. Ive committed no crime.
