Bob Dole Endorses Jeb Bush for President

Bob Dole — the 92-year-old former U.S. senator — endorsed presidential candidate Jeb Bush Wednesday, throwing his support to the son of a longtime political rival.

The Bush campaign announced the endorsement in a statement, with Dole calling the former Florida governor the most qualified Republican candidate in the race while saying he considers nearly all of the Republican candidates friends.

“Jeb has the proven leadership skills and executive experience needed to fix the problems facing our country — from the anemic economy to America’s weakened standing among world leaders,” Dole said in the statement.

“Jeb’s conservative reform agenda and forward looking vision on issues including 4 percent economic growth, defeating ISIS and taking care of our veterans are in stark contrast to Hillary Clinton’s strategy to continue the failed policies of the present Administration.”

Maddow last night replayed the infighting among Republicans back in the 80s. Much of it involved Dole and Poppy. And when Dole came out and gave his endorsement for Jeb, I was rather surprised.

Maybe those dysfunctional reptile pills have had an effect on Dole's brain.
