Billionaire Saudi prince: Trump should end campaign
Source: The Hill
A Saudi royal is calling for Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump to end his campaign.
@RealDonaldTrump, you are a disgrace not only to the GOP but to all America, Saudi Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal tweeted Friday. "Withdraw from the U.S. presidential race as you will never win.
Bin Talals request follows Trumps controversial call for a ban on admitting Muslims into the U.S. Trump has repeatedly defended the measure as necessary to prevent radical Islamic terrorism on American soil.
Forbes reported last June that Bin Talal is Saudi Arabias wealthiest billionaire, boasting a $24 billion personal fortune. He ranks No. 34 out of the worlds 100 richest individuals overall.

(11,519 posts)This will only drive up trump's ratings among the far right. I'm seeing this with some of my relatives who normally have zero interest in politics. They're really digging on the hatred being spewed by this asshole, there will be quite a few far-right fist time voters this election cycle. Damn I can't stand to think of what will happen if many Democrats sit out the general election, it would be worse than when that half-wit B-movie actor got elected.

He also talks as though he posts on an internet political discussion board. Change Trump to Clinton or Sanders, and his words could come straight from GD-Primaries.

Note that they didn't complain about W.
As if oil hasn't proven itself enough of a dual-edged sword, there's the wonderful overlay of having
the medieval Saudis as "allies."
Yep, Don's cut from the same cloth as Sir Prince.

Saudi Arabia's Dwarf-Throwing Billionaire
Worth an estimated $27 billion, the enigmatic Prince Alwaleed bin Talal has very public holdings: he is the second-largest voting shareholder in News Corp., he owns Pariss George V hotel and part of New York Citys Plaza hotel, he is a stockholder in Apple, and he will soon own the worlds tallest building. But the private originsand exact sizeof his massive fortune are the subject of continued debate between bin Talal and prominent media outlets. So whats the truth? And does one of the richest men on Bloombergs Billionaire Indexa calorie-counting cell-phone addict who loves texting James Murdochreally spend his free time throwing dwarves?
Maybe because stories about dwarf-tossing at his desert encampments became public, Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, the 58-year-old Saudi Arabian financial, media, and real-estate mogul, no longer invites journalists to visit his $130 million, 460,000-square-foot Riyadh complex with 371 rooms, an 80-foot-high entrance hall, 500 televisions, and a staff of 100. The prince has traditionally been proud to show off his immense wealth, but he has also worked hard to become the Western face of Saudi finance, and slinging dwarves around like so much hash would not go down too well with a First World audience.
