Track Palin, Sarah Palins adult son, was arrested Monday night in Alaska on assault and weapon charges, according to court records.
The 26-year-old Palin was busted in the familys hometown of Wasilla on charges of fourth-degree assault, interfering with the report of a domestic violence crime and possession of a firearm while intoxicated. All the charges are Class A misdemeanors.
His mother, the former Alaska governor and one-time vice presidential candidate, is in Iowa to endorse Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump.

(50,557 posts)Bristol is supposedly named after Bristol Bay, Alaska, where the Palins hold a commercial salmon permit for. Strangely enough, Bristol is also the city in Connecticut where ESPN - the network Palin wanted to work for after graduating from the University of Idaho with the wrong kind of journalism degree - is headquartered. (The University of Idaho is 8 miles from Washington State University, and the two have always had a gentleman's agreement: Idaho teaches print journalism, and Wazzoo teaches broadcast.)
Apparently, Willow is named after an Alaskan village.
Piper is kinda sick, actually: The Palins own a Super Cub on floats, you can see it in photos of their house.
Track is publicly named that because he was born during track season, but his father is a champion snowmachine racer so I'm going with my explanation for his name. (However, given his behavior, she should have named him 655321.)
Her last child is named Trig; supposedly it's after a Norse god. We can be sure it's not because of the math class.

The last one they had Bristol hauled off and slugged someone . The whole family was involved in the brawl and the police had to break it up.
He was locked and loaded.
The kids are Piper, Willow, Bristol, Track and Trig.

(1 post)SO HERES THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM, TRACK PALIN'S DD214. NO CIB MEANS NO COMBAT ENGAGEMENTS. My unit relieved his RESERVE UNIT. He was at FOB WARHORSE were there was a PX, Pizza But, Subway, barbershops, and MWR. I know this because I was at the Diyala Media Center DMC, and when my vehicle got blown up I got stuck on WARHORSE for repairs. He was PSD Private Security Detachment for his commander, not to be confused WITH PTSD. That means when ever his commander (who doesn't ever need to be or is ever close to engaging the enemy, BECAUSE HES THE COMMANDER, AND THE MAN IN CHARGE) needs to go to a meeting somewhere he needs an escort. Now I'm not knocking Track, because he put the uniform on and served his country regardless of how long. His mother is the one who is the one who's holding him high as a hero. I bet if Track was asked by a COMBAT VETERAN he would tell ya, " man I didn't do shit", because I know tons of guys who get stuck on a FOB like that and never even go to the range let alone engage the enemy. Everyone who puts on the uniform has a job to do, COMBAT related or not, so again I'm not holding it against him, but his delusional mother.

You are right, we can't blame Track for his mother's statements. But, he has apparently committed some crimes and that is all on him.
