Donald Trump Discusses Penis Size During Fox News Republican Debate
Source: IB TIMES
Republican front-runner Donald Trump appeared to brag about his penis size during the GOP debate Thursday night. After the moderators asked Florida Sen. Marco Rubio about his attacks on Trump, the New York businessman responded by saying that he took issue with Rubios criticism of his hand size.
I also have called him a lightweight ... and I have to take that back, Trump said.
He added that Rubio hit me on my hands, referring to Rubios criticism that Trump was s short-fingered vulgarian.
Trump held up his hands and said, Look at my hands. are they small? He then said Rubio implied if his hands were small, then something else must be small. I guarantee you there's no problem, Trump said.

If the founding fathers could come back to see some of the people vying to succeed them in the presidency, they'd want to die all over again - although probably not Washington; he'd get busy kicking some serious derrière.

(22,974 posts)There's just no way we're going to be able to turn this around. The American people have become too fucking stupid to participate effectively in a democracy. The "genius of the people" has been degraded and ruined by the overwhelming influence of non-stop corporate propaganda in the mass media. Orwell was a prophet.

(17,656 posts)You have to take time out of your life to smell the roses once in awhile.
There is no sense in trying to make sense of it all overnight, after all, it took me more than a week.
Although it is true we live in a much busier society these days, the same type of people still suck at displaying decent social skills.
My grandfather said that to my father who repeated it to me.
And even though I learned everything I know about getting along with other people by the 3rd grade, I still spent 7 years struggling in high school.
Thus, I'm not about to waste my time explaining any of that, except to say, whenever someone says that "there's nothing left to say", give them 5 minutes to think about it, and I'm sure they will find something else to say about it.
Chronic complainers are like that.
And it's never really "over and done with", because the next generation is going to repeat the same dumbass mistakes.
I don't look as old as I am, but I feel older than they think I look, just the same, so what's the diff?
If someone starts a comment with "in my humble opinion", you can't bet it won't be.
It took me 3 years to figure out that "LOL" wasn't some kind of secret society code for "this guy's a jackass".
Sometimes we all need a hand, right across the cheek, to remind us we've got 2 cheeks.
So, count yourself lucky if only 1 cheek got slapped today . . tomorrow could be different.
I could go on and on . . . but most people would stop me, if they knew how.

(2,983 posts)Haven't read either of those particular authors - but I agree with you regarding this kind of negativity. Some of the world's greatest thinkers isolate themselves to the point where they become overwhelmingly depressed and negative. Eventually, it can become like a broken record in your head. The human mind is a great and powerful thing - but it needs to be engaged. The ideas within it need to be discussed, debated, and so on. Even for the more scientific, logical individual... random facts in isolation, without something (or someone) to bounce them off of, don't tend to lead to grand conclusions.
When I was in my teens, I once spent four months doing nothing (well, the necessary things aside) but reading. I was so frustrated with my world, people in general - and life in general, that I wanted nothing to do with any of it. I came to all kinds of conclusions about the nature of humanity, the world at large, the grand scheme of things, the universe - and so on. Most of those conclusions I reached (in retrospect) were so absurdly negative as to be idiotic.
My outlook on life these days is primarily positive, but I do think it is wise to consider the validity (or, depending on the case, the lack thereof) of negative perspectives.
All of that said... the contempt that our society often has for the beauty of the human mind is a terrible thing. So many intellectuals spend their lives in isolation, in hiding, doing simple jobs or never going out... because, if they were to say what they think, they fear no one would be able to understand or relate. I have seen people fall into despair, into deep depression, for that very reason. Sadly, this can often lead to suicide - and our world becomes that much a darker place.
The value of one's mind is not to be determined by one's score on a test, by one's supposed "IQ", but by such an immense list of things that we could spend years discussing them. Your mind is a wonderful, beautiful thing ladies and gentlemen... share it with the world.

No one who believes they fit the category of lady or gentleman in the long term sense of those words should be supporting this man.
They should be appalled. Sane and decent people are not supporting him.....if they accept him as a symbol of what is good about this country, they have flunked the sane and decent test.

What The GOP's Dick Anxiety Says About Masculinity In America Right-wing #MasculinitySoFragile.
More women than men in Universities? - Unmarried women starting to gain or earn more than men -
When the entire GOP slate is composed of man-babies trying to appeal to the hearts and fears of terrified American men, is it so surprising that we'd reach a point where candidates use a national political stage to play out their dick anxieties?
