Poll: Clinton up 25 points in Maryland

By Nick Gass

04/21/16 12:00 PM EDT

Nearly 6 in 10 likely Democratic primary voters in Maryland support Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders ahead of the state's Tuesday election, according to the results of a Monmouth University poll released on Thursday.

While Clinton earned 57 percent support, Sanders took 32 percent, and 10 percent are undecided between the two candidates. Those results are largely in line with recent polling, including an NBC 4/Marist survey conducted earlier this month, which found Clinton with a similar 26-point edge.

Clinton leads among all demographic groups, including men (59 percent to 32 percent), women (56 percent to 32 percent), black voters (64 percent to 20 percent), white voters (52 percent to 39 percent), voters over the age of 50 (64 percent to 25 percent), and notably, among voters under the age of 50 (50 percent to 39 percent), where Sanders usually thrives.

Regardless of who the Democratic nominee is, 87 percent in the reliably blue state said they would support Clinton over Donald Trump, while 83 percent said the same for Sanders in the same matchup.

Maryland has 95 pledged delegates up for grabs on Tuesday,............

And is the presumptive nominee. There is no way for Sanders to make it at this point, and in fact the math already stopped showing a possible path for him on March 15. Too bad Sanders keeps peddling a con to his supporters that he can still win--send money.

no matter who the candidate is.

It's not 'about Bernie'. It's about progressive ideals and having the chutzpah to try to work for them and not stop ever in any way possible.

It's not a popularity contest. And nothing is inevitable.

It's a continuous battle for forever. Rights won are retaken if not fought for, as well, just look at US history. So the march for progressivism, true progress, can never stop and never fail to use every possible pressure point at all times.

He knows he's whipped. Last Tuesday he was stunned by the overwhelming support for Hillary. Same is going to happen next Tuesday.

Bernie sees the light at the end of the tunnel - and it's a Hillary locomotive coming right at him!

As for the poster that said Hillary won't get their vote next Tuesday, she won't get mine, either. That's because she already did - when we voted here in Missouri - a state she won!
