Donald Trump seeks $10 million from former aide over alleged leak

Source: Portland Press Herald

WASHINGTON — Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is seeking $10 million in damages from former senior campaign consultant Sam Nunberg, alleging that Nunberg leaked confidential information to reporters in violation of a nondisclosure agreement.

In a court filing obtained by The Associated Press, Nunberg accused Trump of trying to silence him “in a misguided attempt to cover up media coverage of an apparent affair” between two senior campaign staffers.

The highly unusual legal dispute reflects Trump’s efforts to aggressively protect the secrecy of his campaign’s inner workings.

The AP reported last month that Trump requires nearly everyone in his campaign and businesses to sign legally binding nondisclosure agreements prohibiting them from releasing any confidential or disparaging information about the real estate mogul, his family or his companies. Trump has also said he would consider requiring such agreements in the White House.

woah woah woah That can't be legal, can it?

I mean, sure, Trump will never BE president, but still, that can't be legal, right?

They are also very common throughout government in R&D and acquisition activities.

"Trump has also said he would consider requiring such agreements in the White House" So loyalty to him trumps loyalty to the country. He has his Stepford kids vetting VPs and making his decisions. He has stated there are parts of the presidency he just won't do. Either he has no idea whatsoever what he's getting into or he's totally whacked out crazy or both.

Gretchen Carlson is circumventing her NDA by suing Ailes directly.

A thug with good lawyers. Exactly.

to Trumps lifelong scam. He thinks he's bullet proof because he ties everyone up in these non disclosure contracts. No one has the means to fight. So he gets by with any and all crap for 40 plus years. This Nunberg guy is calling him. He has to be worried. This appears to be the first person who has said to hell with the contract, lets do this. I hope Nunberg has supporters who help him end this ridiculous ploy. Its way past time for Trump to be outed for exactly who and what he is.
