Former aide in text: Christie ‘flat out lied’ in bridge case

Source: Washington Post

NEWARK, N.J. — According to a new court filing, a former Chris Christie aide texted to a colleague that the New Jersey governor “flat out lied” at a news conference about the George Washington Bridge lane-closing scandal.

A transcript of the text is contained in court filings by attorneys representing Bill Baroni, who faces trial next month for allegedly helping orchestrate the lane closures for political revenge.

Christie’s office didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

The text exchange is between Christina Renna, Christie’s director of intergovernmental affairs, and Peter Sheridan, a staffer on his re-election campaign. It came while the Republican governor was telling reporters at a news conference that no one in his office was involved.

when you live in New Jersey, where all non-essential construction work on roads and rail has been stopped for over a month now because of his feud with the Democratic Senate.

Construction workers are losing their income, and people are being stuck in traffic, because of Chris Christie's narcissism. Unfortunately, we're stuck with this guy until 2018.

This guy just doesn't know when to quit. I didn't think he could do any more damage to New Jersey. It would be really great for New Jersey if he got indicted, though thus far, he seems to be made of Teflon.

You know Christie said some very bad things about me when he was on the campaign trail out for himself. He said I am not worthy of the presidency. I invited Christie to my place for a free meal and he made up terrible lies about that. He did apologize to me back stage at one of the debates and he offered to go after Cruz. I told Christie lay off Cruz ,he,s mine for the taking. Go after Rubio I said and if you do a good job ,we will talk about what you can do to earn forgiveness. Of course Christie believed me thinking I would never lie to an old friend. He's really dumb enough to convince himself he can earn my trust !

Now if you turn the clock back a bit, looking at the tv interview Christie gave when he said I am not worthy of the presidency, you may recall I in turn said as seen on tv, Christie totally knew about the bridge lane closures.
And that having been said is no lie.

So why you might ask do I keep him around ,isn't he a terrible liability ?
The answer to that question is you must stay tuned ,what happens to Christie in the outcome is a huge part of the entertainment values in this The Donald Show !

You know someone died in an ambulance because of that, but Christie sees it as one of the casualties-,he excepts that.

You wonder where I get my talking points ? I wouldn't lose a vote right ? Christie believes that too. I mean what choice does he have !

It all went down really really fast, Christie's down fall. But the best part being the last part is slow but sure.

Stay tuned.
